What is the logic of the color scheme for highlighted cells?
The DQ Assistant uses a simple color scheme to provide an overview and tracking of identified issues:
Purple cells: Highlighted for information across data quality dimensions (missing, inconsistent, outlier, duplicate, formula, sensitive). The cell does not need to necessarily contain an issue, but stands out compared to the others in the same row/column
Orange cells: Highlighted as a warning across data quality dimensions (missing, inconsistent, outlier, duplicate, formula, sensitive). The cell likely contains an issue and requires a closer investigation
White cells: Ignored information/warnings will be shown in white color
Green cells: Corrected cells will be shown in green color
An Excel sheet that has been worked on, might look like this:

In this example, there are overall 6 potential issues defined as warnings and 12 potential issues defined as information. For the quality dimension "Missing", there are 3 potential issues defined as warnings and 6 potential issues defined as information.
The user can also decolor the entire sheet after having finalized the analysis. This just requires to click the "Decolor" button (see below) in the Add-in window. All colors included by the Add-in are then automatically removed from the sheet.
